Stay on Historic River Street

Olde Harbour Inn sits on the east end of historic River Street — and at our door, Savannah is always at its liveliest.

River Street

Galleries, markets & monuments

River Street is filled with businesses, restaurants, bars, and shops — art galleries, an outdoor market, and specialty stores at every turn. Take a stroll along the cobblestones and you'll find Savannah's Waving Girl statue, the Olympic Cauldron monument, the World War II Monument, and the African-American Monument.

Factor's Walk

Alleys, bridges & history

Then there's Factor's Walk — old passageways of alleys, walkways, and bridges lined with eclectic shops and boutiques. Just off Bay Street, to the right of City Hall, you'll find Washington's Guns: two cannons presented to the Chatham Artillery by George Washington in 1791. On the east side of Emmet Park stands the Savannah Harbor Rear Range Light, or Beacon Range Light, dating to 1858.
